Snow Day 2011
We awoke this morning to a snow day...no school. We tried to build a snowman, but the snow is so powdery that it won't stick. We made our handprints on the patio instead. Since the first half of next week is reserved for Teacher In Service days, the kids won't go back until next Thursday...nothing like a 6 day winter break!!! Maybe we will put on some summer music and pretend we are somewhere tropical while we bake cookies today! I am definitely a Texas girl...tired of the cold weather and ready for some warm spring days!

How exciting, SNOW!!! All we got was ice and sleet! It looks really cold out there, but the snow looks so powdery and white. What fun to get to stay home from school and play in the snow for a little while!! Everyone looks like they are having fun, even though all of you look really cold!!! Hugs, Nana
