Mollie and Mackenzie Graduate from Faubion Elementary

Faubion 5th Grade Graduation took place today.  Parents, children, and staff lined the hallways to cheer for the 5th graders as they processed by.  Their procession took them to the library where they enjoyed a 45 minute long slide show that the teachers had put together.  The 5th Graders then walked to Creekside Park for the traditional cross over the bridge where they met their teacher, shook hands, and received their diploma.  After the serious business was over, they spent the rest of the day at the park.  They enjoyed a picnic lunch complete with hot dogs, County Line bbq, cake, sodas and even snow cones from the local Shakes.  The Cedar Park Fire Department ended the ocassion by hosing the children down to cool them off before walking back to the school.  I am not sure where the time went as the years have flown by, but I do know that we have been so blessed to watch both of our girls transform from tiny things to young ladies right before our very eyes.  The journey so far has been amazing, and we look forward to their continued transformation as the future unfolds.  Congratulations Mollie and Mackenzie.  We are so proud of you!!
