Disney World Trip - Day 1

We had a great time at Disney World just before Christmas.  We began our stay at the Contemporary Resort with a great view of the Castle and Space Mountain from our balcony.    The first day we got up early and went straight to the Magic Kingdom.   The decorations were all up for Christmas and the park was really beautiful.   We rode Space Mountain (Mackenzie and Shalise survived), Buzz Lightyear, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Railroad, as well as many of the classic rides like It's a Small World, Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh.     The girls loved Cinderella's Castle, and Cameron got a pirate sword from Pirates of the Caribbean.  We finished the day with a great dinner at the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort where we watched the fireworks from their observation deck.   It was a really awesome day and everyone had such a good time.
