Cameron attended his first Tae Kwon Do tournament this past weekend. He entered 4 events and did very well. There were students from all over Texas at the tournament, and this gave Cameron a chance to see other forms of Tae Kwon Do and compete against other students.
He competed in Knights and Warriors (swords and shields), Open Hand Forms, Point Sparring, and Continuous Sparring. He was awarded Ring Champion for his Dan Gun form and earned a Grand Champion trophy for his Open Hand Form. He also earned First and Second place medals in Sparring and Knights and Warriors. He really worked hard to be ready for the tournament, and we are proud of how well he did! His sisters were thrilled to sit through the 6 hours of tournament fun.
Here are some clips of his tournament.
