Vista Ridge Band and Starline Perform at UIL Competition

After long weeks of practices and performances, it was finally time for the UIL competition.   The Vista Ridge Starline and Band took the field yesterday to perform their show "Danza De La Rosa".  The show looked really amazing and sounded fantastic.  It has been really awesome to watch the progression of the show from the first football game to the final production at competition.   Mollie and Mackenzie have had a lot of fun getting to be part of the Starline team and performing at halftime shows with the band.  It has given them a unique opportunity to do a different kind of performance than their typical dance routines.  And they have made a bunch of new friends throughout the season.  The crowd from all schools seemed to really love the show.  The band received straight 1's from the judges for the performance.   Way to go Band and Starline!

(note:  the reason the band starts before being announced is their show is longer than the allotted 8 minutes but is timed to have the big "hit" moment right when the official timing begins. )
