Happy New Year
We welcomed 2009 with a trip to the movies to see The Tale of Despereaux followed by dinner at home. We enjoyed traditional black eyed peas with pork loin, cranberry walnut salad, and "mashed" potatoes. For dessert we lit a fire (even though it was nearly 80 degrees outside) and roasted marshmallows so we could make S'mores. Mommy, Mollie, and Mackenzie love them...Greg tolerates them for the sake of tradition...and Cameron, well he would rather just dig into a Hersey bar without the marshmallow and graham cracker!
