It's Girl Scout Cookie Time Again!

Here is a picture of Mollie and Mackenzie coming back home after their third day of selling cookies to our neighbors. Wish I could have just put that whole case of Thin Mints in my freezer ;) Greg and I usually dread Girl Scout cookie time, but this year the girls really got into it. An added bonus was the unseasonably warm January weather. Mollie and Mackenzie's troop set a goal of selling 800 boxes of cookies with 10 % going to charity. Mollie and Mackenzie pledged to sell 48 each (96 total). After just 3 days, the girls sold a total of 122 boxes of cookies with 12 of those boxes going to "Operation Cookie". With the money the troop earns, the girls are going to spend a fun day at Main Event and the donated boxes are going to be sent to some well deserved, tired, and hungry U.S. soldiers. Much thanks to everyone that bought some cookies. The girls set a goal, met a goal, and helped out some soldiers along the way. Good job Mollie and Mackenzie!
