Christmas Morning
The kids awoke from their dreamy slumber to a tree full of presents and new toys left by Santa. Cameron got a new DS game and a marble raceway. The girls each got an Ipod Nano especially engraved by Santa himself! Daddy got a pizza peel and a new wii game and Mommy loves her fabulous new shoes and her very own Ipod too! Every year the last present opened is always a surprise from Mommy and Daddy...something the kids did not have on their Christmas wishlist, but something we know they will love. This year we decided to finally breakdown and give in to their begging for a trampoline. We wrapped a note to each of them in a paper towel roll and placed it on the tree the day before Christmas. They opened it, read it, and turned it upside down to find a clue. They put their clues together to read the words "Surprise In Garage"! They went out to the garage to find a large wrapped present which they eagerly tore into and jumped for joy when they realized they got a trampoline. It was a fun morning and I am sure it will be just as much fun watching Greg assemble that 15 foot trampoline in our backyard! Greg made a yummy Christmas Brunch (breakfast scramble, roasted potatoes, bacon, toast & croissants). We spent the day playing with the new toys and packing to head to Houston to visit a few days with the rest of the family.
