Got dressed up and made a fancy dinner to celebrate 2010. We made a pork loin with cranberry sauce and homemade sweet potato casserole. We also had our red beans and black eyed peas and asperagus. We always have s'mores for dessert on New Years. This year we hessitated to roast the marsmallows in the fireplace since we have the new gas logs and all. Instead, we opted to melt the marshmallows in the microwave. Less authentic, but equally yummy! Even Miley enjoyed a s'more...all graham cracker, hold the chocolate and marshmallow!
