From Playroom to TV Room...Bittersweet Transition

As the kids continue to grow we have found it necessary to downsize our playroom and convert it more to a family/tv room. The kids need a place to play video games, have sleepovers, and hang out with their friends... AND Greg wanted a place to watch his sports! Usually moving furniture is my idea, but this time it was Greg's idea. I think he had a good suggestion and the room looks great. It has been sad watching the kids gradually get too big for certain toys like My Little Pony and Little People, but it has been fun watching them grow from toddlers to big kids full of their own opinions! Now no one complains when I listen to Josh Groban again while cooking dinner because they have their own place to hang out. When we moved our old sofa to the loft we made room downstairs for a large sectional. Now everyone can hang out together downstairs without sitting on top of each other. It took Miley awhile to find a new spot to lay on the floor after we rearranged furniture, and Ferris has decided to just lay on his blanket under the dining room table...probably afraid of what will happen if he sets his paws on the new sofa. All in all the 2 rooms are more functional for our family.
