Starline Shimmer and Shine at Dance Showcase Nationals

We traveled to Kennedale, Texas (and stayed with Aunt Stephanie, Uncle David, Anna, and Jack) for the Dance Showcase National Competition.   Mollie's Shimmer team was reduced to a trio for the contest due to summer plans.   However, despite having to re-learn their two dances quickly, they won two Elite Platinum First Place awards for their two dances.  They also won Best Overall score for their entire category for their Pom "Whip It" dance.   We are so proud of Mollie and her hard work and dedication!Mackenzie's entire Shine team made the trip and won Elite Platinum First Place for their "Jai Ho" dance and a Elite Gold First Place for their "Classical Mix" Pom dance.   They also won sixth place overall in their category for the "Jai Ho" dance.    We are very proud of how well Mackenzie performed with her team as well!   We are thankful that we had family close by to invade during the three days we were at the competition.   Anna also made sure we all got a taste of Purple Berri yogurt, and Shalise loved the purple and green decor.
