With our closing date moved up we were able to be in our new home in time to celebrate Halloween. We had to adjust our traditions a bit because we did not have enough time to carve all 4 pumpkins. We carved a simple family pumpkin on the back patio, and then the kids decorated theirs with markers. We also did not have our traditional Halloween chili, but we were invited to a neighborhood potluck where we were able to meet some neighbors and have a few snacks before heading out to trick or treat. Cameron dressed as Mario from his favorite video games. We were surprised that he even wore the mustache. Mackenzie repurposed her tux dance costume from last year and went as a magician. Mollie also reused her old pilot dance costume and dressed as a flight attendant. After going out for some tricks and treats, we came back to an empty house to eat halloween candy and watch old Adams Family reruns. We enjoyed trick or treating in our new neighborhood, and look forward to many more memories in our new home.

I love the costumes and the pumpkins!!! I'm glad that you'll got to celebrate Halloween in your new house and trick or treat in your new neighborhood. What a great way to get to know your new neighbors by sharing pot luck with them. Sounds like you'll had a great time celebrating Halloween. It is just the beginning of many memories in your new home!!! Hugs, Nana
Too, too, too cute! I think that Cameron should wear that mustache more often. The girls look precious too. Looks like everyone had a great time!
